My stay at Martino was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is nestled in lush greenery with breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The surrounding area is perfect for peaceful hikes and romantic walks along the shore. The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean, with standard rooms that offer a stunning ocean view from the terrace. The highlight of my stay was sitting on the deck in the evenings and mornings, taking in the serene atmosphere. The inclusive breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options made to order. Martino is a great value for money choice, especially if you splurge for the ocean view.
Nothing at all. 😊

This hotel was a gem. We were enroute from Agropoli to Matera and had only booked 1 night. We now wish that we had changed our plans and stayed for several days. It is a lovely hotel - very tranquil, in a beautiful situation between the mountains and the sea. Coming in the main entrance the floor is covered in beautiful tiles. Our room was huge - on 2 levels - with a balcony where we sat and watched a beautiful sunset over the sea. The garden below the balcony was filled with lemon trees and roses. The hotel has shuttle buses to the sea/beach. Behind is the mountain with the huge very stricking statue of Christ -similar to Rio de Janeiro. The hotel facilities were all excellent and the staff all very friendly and helpful. An excellent breakfast was served in the downstairs lobby area which was also the area for Wi Fi reception. The wonderful indoor pool was sadly not heated.
It is difficult to fault this hotel. I suppose in an ideal world the Wi Fi would also be available in the rooms and the pool would be heated

The balcony view was stunning, overlooking the coast. Spacious rooms with ample wardrobe space and comfortable beds. Well-maintained grounds with fragrant flowers and lemon trees. Plentiful continental breakfast with fresh coffee. A charming, family-run establishment with airy common areas.

Hotel Martino has a wonderful location in Maratea. It is easy to find and situated on a main road. We had a lovely corner room with a balcony. The view was extraordinary. We looked out at the countryside, mountains, statue of the Redeemer and the sea. It is a lovely place to stay with an excellent restaurant.

It is a hotel well located if you are on the road and have to stop for one night. Great little garden and views. The staff is very helpful
Institutional furnishing, use of plastic glasses for breakfast. The area outside the hotel compound, although very beautiful, is abandoned and unkept.

The location with a view over the bay and the sunsets on the balcony. The restaurant was great to visit in the evening and most enjoyable.
The bathroom and fittings need to be updated.

We enjoyed the stunning sea view from our comfortable room, and the onsite restaurant served delicious food complemented by breath-taking views. The staff was helpful and spoke English, and the hotel had nice facilities and parking. The hotel is located very close to the "cave of wonders" Grotta delle Meraviglie, which was a must-see attraction in the neighborhood.
Nothings.

Finding great hotels at reasonable prices is why I use Booked.net, and Hotel Martino was one of those great finds. We can’t wait to go back. It was hot when we were there, so we were especially grateful for the air conditioner, which worked very well. The hotel also has a very nice restaurant. We were also very pleased with the breakfast buffet – huge by Italian standards, more on the order of what we’ve found in German hotels.
Hotel guests have access to a private beach which is wonderful. The beach has lounge chairs, umbrellas and an attendant. When we checked out, our bill contained a charge of 8 Euros per day for use of the lounge chairs and umbrella at the beach. I thought this was a reasonable charge and did not mind paying it, but I was irritated by the fact that there was no notice of this charge anywhere. Not at the desk, in the room nor at the beach. So be forewarned of this charge.
